DOGBOWL - "Cyclops Nuclear Submarine Captain" (1991)

The finest in whimsical retro-psychedelic pop.  Dogbowl (aka Stephen Tunney) was the founding guitarist for King Missile in the 80s, but left after the first album and did some excellent solo albums, this being the second and my favorite.

Sludge that sounds like Swans and Godflesh rammed through a black metal filter for maximum filth and evil. Not something I feel the need to listen to very often, but it has its cathartic uses.
