Great album Dave! I have Umphrey's Mcgee whole discography (well except for the last one realeased last year) and I can safely say they've never released a bad album, some are better than others of course but still they are all solid! They are superb musicians no doubt about it. Check out Anchor Drops if you'll have the chance.

I may just prefer it to Glimpse but it's really hard to tell just yet. I simply adore the way the mellotron and organs sound. The sound is so lush, it's literally like having cream flow through your speakers. The mellotron in particular sounds amazing. 
It's not often I come across bands who are able to record these instruments so brilliantly - at least not in modern music. Big kudos from here.

Indeed fantastic sound, I love how the acoustic instruments blend so well with the electronics, tracks like Every Dead Indian is just brilliant and man do I love crancking up The Utopian & The Teaspoon! Approve

Fun fact: I thought for a long time that Siouxsie was half Asian and half white (is it still polite to refer to such people as "Eurasian"? I'm not 100% sure), because her signature make up style renders it difficult to tell much of the time and in that context strongly resembles a goth version of an acquaintance of mine who is half Irish and half Japanese.

Apparently she's just half-Belgian?

It was a bewildering but tasty first listen actually. I heard funk, psych, the 80s, space rock as well as the signature late 60s vibe they've always had. I can tell I'm going to be crazy about this one.
