So much hype, just play the game. The media needs to take a big time out. I might leave the sound off and play some good prog rock.

With the beast, you pass that close to the goal? Yikes. Great game to watch!

Interesting that the Seahawks lost on a goal-line interception when they essentially buried Carolina's chances with a goal-line interception.

Very weird playoffs this year. Many games were decided on a sh*tty call or a stupid play. Or deflated balls.

Great game.....I knew if it remained close Pats would win, but not win on a bone head call like that. Worst call in SB history by coaching staff....Sorry no excuse from Pete will work, 3 chances to get 2yds.....wow

Well...whoever made that play call for the Seahawks pretty much cost their team the Super Bowl
That was truly one of the stupidest things I've ever seen in my life. I know Pete said it was his doing but who really knows..could've been the OC and he's covering. Either way: Whoever called that pass is an idiot.
What a sh*t ending to a pretty fun game imo That said was a good game, was as tight as we expected and either deserved to win. I guess in a way I'm happy NE won just to farther prove only the Giants can beat em
Congrats to the Pats, their 4th SB and Brady's 3rd MVP. 3 was elite territory but 4? Plus the two close others, regardless of how you feel (and its known I hate em) This New England Patriots team has to go down as one of the best.
Onto next year boys!

Horrible way to lose a game though the Seahawks have been riding their luck a bit this season. RUN THE DAMN BALL!!

The OC explanation that he was worried about the game clock makes no sense. So you are gonna tell me in 26 seconds you lost all faith in your defense, that is the best in the NFL, that they cannot stop Brady from getting close enough for a game tying FG??? Really!!?? I have no problem with taking 5-6 seconds off by having Wilson drop back in the pocket, scramble a bit and then throw the ball into the endzone stands, that kills the clock, saves their timeouts and still have 2 shots at giving the ball to Lynch to get a 1/2 yd.... As a coach your game plan is always "go with what got you there"......Epic failure Seattle.

After having some time to think about it, passing on 2nd down makes sense. They had one timeout left, and if Lynch somehow fails to get into the endzone on 2nd and 3rd down, the game is over. So, they were banking on the pass on 2nd down being either be a touchdown or incomplete, giving them two more downs to try and run it in. Unfortunately, that was a horrible pass play to call. Corner of the endzone or towards the sidelines would've made more sense.
Then again, had the play resulted in a touchdown, we'd all be talking about how bold the call was and how Pete Carroll is a genius (I still think he's an excellent coach).
