"Mountain Queen" Alquin - 1973 - Netherlands One of my favorite albums from the early 70s. Great guitar, keyboards and sax. Side two even features electric violin through a wah wah.

And it may be my favorite of their album covers.

"Young Men Gone West" City Boy - 1977 - UK I was very much into this band in the late seventies. This is probably my favorite LP with Dinner At The Ritz being a very close second. Excellent songwriting and vocals. Mike Slamer on lead guitar could hold his own with the best of them in that period. Great cover art, too. I almost chose it for my avatar but went with Strange Days.
