Dance Of The Flames by Guru Guru.

I was into this band about the same time I was into Epsilon.
I like to get back to some of my German albums every now and then.
Epitaph just popped into my head while I was typing.

Hurdy Gurdy - self titled - 1971 - Denmark

This is a power trio led by Claus Bohling before Secret Oyster.
It's hard and it's rough which was not uncommon for 1971.

Ooh, interesting... I'm a big fan of Secret Oyster.  I love how Bohling crafts his solos.

I like their first two and Krankenhaus.
I think Astarte was a soundtrack or something.

Yes - Going for the One - my favourite by them. There is an atmospheric quality to the album that I do not find on any of their other works - I suspect it is something to do with the way it was recorded. Also has the best three tracks ever written by the band - Awaken, Turn of the Century & Wonderous Stories. Nothing else they did even came close to these three tracks.
The purpose of life is a life of purpose - Athena Orchard
