Word......Last month I paid $75 for original copy of PT~Signify on the Delirium label. It is in VG+++/Mint condition, the vinyl looks to have not been played much at all and the gatefold is awesome. Discogs said i paid the going price so I was good with it....and actually I got 10% off with my frequent buyer club card at my fav record store But, the music is excellent, the packaging everything makes the experience lovely over and over, I have only spun it 2-3x, just trying to keep it in super nice condition, I play my reissue normally. At some point the cost per play of vinyl diminishes.....$25 ÷ 20 plays = $1.25 pretty cheap for 45min of entertainment.

Selling my collection is not an easy thing to do. In fact, I have not convinced myself yet to do it.
It was not easy hanging onto them for forty years. But, my children are not interested in them and I'm afraid they would dump them off to the first buyer that offered them pennies on the dollar. Condition and quantity manufactured are the two most important things in determining the value of anything that is collectible. All of my seventies albums have been protected with plastic sleeves since purchased. I would like to see them in the hands of a younger collector who would keep them and maintain their condition for years to come.

You are right about that. I've been slowly going through and pulling out some things that I think might be of interest to collectors. I have Lotus by Santana with the cover that unfolds to the size of a kitchen table. Also, Pathfinder by Beggars Opera and Space Hymns by Ramases which both have unfolding covers but not as big as Lotus. I've been told that Northern Dreams by Bill Nelson is rare.

^ Being a fussy Australian, don't think I could bring myself to try Groundhog or Squirrel. I'll gladly feed peanuts to the squirrels in NYC parks though.....

Beardfish vinyl is blue, but it sounds like red - a far happier colour.

Got it already on Monday, 5 minutes before I had to leave to catch a plane to Germany. Glad I had a huge traffic jam as an excuse to work from home today :)
