^Dean, since I know you're a photo buff....here were his "specs" for that shot....

Nobody's been in the shed all summer, it's going to need a good clear out, those pots of paint won't tidy themselves you know. And the roof's leaking a bit

Mind you, the garden clearance went well

It appears the dynamite you used to clear the garden had a somewhat adverse effect on the shed.

Cough cough! Flippin' heck - it's a bit dusty in here! How I have missed this oasis of sanity and tranquility...

It's nice to be back, chaps. Is there any lardy cake?

Sanity? Confused

Sorry Chris, the insects have eaten all the lardy cake over the summer.

Bloody hell - Chris back as well!

3 of us in here with some old paint, lardy cake & a dusty eukelele - seems like beer o/clock!

Sorry we've been busy having a good clear out of the Shed. We're all good though, thanks. And yourself?

I've found some copies of NME from the 80s. Let's see - 'ELP responsible for nuclear proliferation' 'Rush cause 8 species a day to go extinct' 'Genesis start the Falklands war' - funny, I remember them being much more anti prog than that.

What marvellous weather we've been having.
On Thursday night we were visited by a big storm, with winds over 100mph which blew loads of slate tiles off the roof - some of them landed over 100 yards from the house.  The roof right above (well, about seven feet above) my sleeping head was struck by lightning, blowing several concrete ridge tiles about twenty feet and the telephone line was frazzled.  One of the guy lines of the telephone pole outside the house was pulled up, along with the wooden railway sleeper it was attached to, which had been a foot underground.  And of course we lost all power, heating, phone, internet etc for the next sixty seven hours.
The weather's still playing up, and another storm is coming the day after tomorrow.

How is it where you are?

Wow, no wonder you've had bad weather, there were some really strong winds around Stornoway recently. Hope everything gets sorted out for you.

Whereabouts exactly are you? - my wife has been to Lewis and thought it was wonderful. It's a place I'd like to visit at some point (well, you've put me off a bit but still...).
