yeah, but they (Lions) didn't do anything in the second half. That hurt them more than the flag being picked up, they had plenty of chances to win that game. |
I don't agree with the first half of your second sentence, but yes...The Lions didn't help themselves that following drive. And I do wish the GreenBay game was Saturday night!

That screwjob pretty much cost them the game though. It didn't help that their punter followed it up with a 10-year shank job. Also, I kind of thought that Dallas should have been called for a hold on that final touchdown pass. The offensive lineman had a pretty good hold on Ziggy Ansah's jersey at the shoulder. Held him up long enough for Romo to get the pass off just before getting hit. Oh well SOL (same ol' lions). |
There was an additional unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the "Phamous Phantom Pass Interpherence Play". Dez Bryant ran out on the field without his helmet and yelled at the refs. That's a 15 yard penalty in high school football as well. |
Yep.

I could not care less who the NFL wants to foist on the public for demographic purposes. |
This angers me more than the picked up flag. Where's the explanation for that? Detroit DID play like garbage in the second half, but there's a strong possibility that Detroit puts the game away with that drive. At the least, a possible FG and 3 points. I don't usually say this, but I want the Packers to absolutely destroy the Cowboys next week. No doubt about it.

Ravens always play us tough, and it should be a hard fought game.

Raven defensive strategy.......Suggs sacks Brady and then steps on his legs a few times.

I really think that some officials need to lose their jobs over their play calling in the Lions-Cowboys game.

Ziggy Ansah also got mugged on the Cowboy's last touchdown play. I'll try to find video.

Hey, at least the NFL offered an apology, right? After reading some of the stuff today, there's no doubt in my mind who was favored in that game. That's not even a conspiracy theory, especially with all the evidence staring right at us.

The Seahawks streak of 61 straight games without losing by double-digits isn't only active. It's the longest in NFL history by 16 games.

Everything went as expected last time, though Detroit did get our hopes up, just to blow it, and thus allowed themselves to be in the situation where the refs can f**k em over.
Tonight's game will suck, but Ravens/NE has been shockingly good. I still expect NE to pull it out but I would love it for New England to win. Though I gotta say, the Ravens DO need to stfu with their big mouths.
Tomorrow has some beautiful games, though I expect both Denver and Green Bay to win. I assume Rodgers will be fine but he is banged up and the o line is not great. Im worried.....Dallas can NOT win oh god please

This has been a good game, and way tighter than I thought! Impressive display from Baltimore. Well played all around.
Unlike tonight's game which I expect to be dreadful, so much so I'm going to the gym ha! Maybe I'll catch the score on one of the bikes

It's been quite an exciting game. Three flags on a field goal attempt with Cam Chancellor treating the linemen like hurdles? I hope one of your pedals gets stuck.

Wow Carolina played shockingly well for a long time. I mean, they really have no weapons, just a solid TE they throw to alot and an inconsistent Cam, BUT really played impressive, that rookie WR too is gunna be good. I actually feel bad, Cam never had much and they took away his one main weapon and replaced him with a rookie, thankfully he seems to be a stud.
That said, Seattle's defense. So fast and hard hitting, fly in from everywhere. I love that in todays game you can play tough defense, and for real not just Gregg Williams who tries to hurt players Wilson is a true QB, no video game stats, no diva attitude or gun slinging...takes what is there, and will step up as needed. Criminally underrated, by those who just look at stats....watching him reminds me of Eli or Flacco just has that "It" even if lacking stats.
Ahhhh Rob don't ya get it? Whenever someone says "This is gunna be a shootout 49-48" and it'll be like 3-0 Or "Wow X is gunna win by 40 I mean the mismatch is hilarious" and it'll be a shocking loss. By saying what I did it ENSURED it'd be a tight game :D
