Has anyone heard the Post Punk band Magazine?
The vocalist was Howard Devoto from the Buzzcocks and John McGeoch ( later The Cure) was on guitar.

Their secon album "Secondhand Daylight" was a little Floydian also with touches of Roxy Music.

Comments welcome!

Sorry, my trusty canine companion... Buzzcocks and Cure were my sister's fave two bands.

I tried repeatedly to beat prog into her while we were growing up, but she wasn't having any of it...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Yeah, I'd never spotted their Roxy-ness but I see what you mean. Their live album "Play" is also fantastic - especially The Light Pours Out Of Me, which is as cool as its title.  The bass player was Barry Adamson, who went on to be a Bad Seed among other things (before, he was in Visage but that's not too prominent on his biogs).
