It's been years since the Bengals had a game like. It's mighty pleasing to watch since we play the Broncos next Monday night. But still, Peyton has never lost to the Bengals. |

I really hope tonight's Bears team shows up next week.

^ They were pretty atrocious that's for sure.
Granted...the saints didn't look like a team that could set the world on fire either...my how the mighty have fallen.

"Vick has paid down nearly all of $18M debt" and that he chose Chapter 11 bankruptcy over Chapter 7, which would've forgiven most of his debts. He claims those people never stiffed him, he doesn't want to thus stiff them. I disliked Vick before the dog fighting issue, and absolutely loathed him after it. He was a fairly scummy person BUT as they say: The guy has paid his debts to society, and apparently now his debts to his creditors. He did go to jail, has done all one really can since being freed, hopefully he's grown and sincerely learned something from it all. And given all the incidents in recent years, I guess it's good to see someone pay the full price of his actions. |

So, the Bears bench Cutler for Clausen. Perhaps the Bears brain trust (an ironic statement in this case) doesn't want Cutler destroyed by the Lions D-line so that they can trade him while he's healthy. Either that, or putting Clausen in for the next 2 games virtually assures the Bears a top 10 pick. Edited by The Dark Elf - December 18 2014 at 03:11 |

Just saw! Despite all these public displays of displeasure I would never have expected this, esp for Jimmy Clausen of all people.
I wonder if any NFL team actually tries to lose games for a higher pick, I mean what if the back up plays well? Or other teams fail worse, or some other player has a beast game that gets you 4 TDs? Speaking of turmoil, what a terrible end for Harbaugh. For reasons I don't fully understand he's hated by management and non SF fans across the nation, but I'd kill for his resume! Thankfully, inside reports claim Coughlin has a "99.9%" chance of remaining coach so no need to worry. Good move, if this is the truth, in my opinion. Then I'll pray we win the SB like the last times TC almost got run out of town! BTW someone actually suggested he would take the Michigan job because it'd mean the niners would get nothing in return for him I almost would like to see that

I don't think so, not this year. Caldwell has them playing unlike the f*ck-up Lions of old. Edited by The Dark Elf - December 18 2014 at 03:17 |

I pray not. Otherwise, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. And if they do win this one, I feel like they're pretty much locked into the postseason. |

Terue. Even though the offense seems very suspect, they are getting the wins (mostly) that they would have lost in years past.

They should be in with a win. At least, I thought they had the tie breakers over Dallas and the Eagles. But I generally don't delve into these playoff scenarios too much so I might be confusing things.

Well....Philly has blown it.
This clearly ends their playoff hopes. And because of the skins....ouch I've been so busy and frazzled lately had no idea games were being played LOL Looks like SF is beating up on San Diego and they did it the way they USED to play....with Frank Gore and Kaep running Seems they've run the ball alot, and Kaep has thus had a solid passing display...and of course some good defense. WELL maybe not....seems like SD just tied it :O Gotta give Rivers credit, is having another great year and though he kinda flubbed this game early on was money in the 4th quarter and into OT. Shows the difference between him and Kaep....what it takes to be a real QB.

The Niners choke job tonight was icing on the cake for football today. Now, the Lions just need to take care of business tomorrow and take the fight to Green Bay next week. There's still a lot to fight for.

Chargers with the massive comeback....go figure!
Hope Harbaugh is read for living in Oakland or Ann Arbor, Michigan... Some intriguing games! In Rex Ryan's last home game at Metlife stadium Jets play their arch enemy the Pats....so far tight game. Would be fun to see em nab a win. I don't count on it at all though! Indy/Dallas is of course the big afternoon game, and Seattle/Arizona has real potential (though I assume itll be a decently easy win for the hawks).I do love and underdog and with their QB rotation would be cool to see the upset. Giants and Odell Beckham face a real challenge now against that Rams defense....let's see what they can do.

Fell asleep in the lazy boy last night thinking the Chargers had lost, what a surprise to see the score today..
Well, I don't know how the Steelers managed to somehow get into the playoffs with that defense, but they did it with a win over the Chiefs today! Even after terrible losses to Bucs and Jets this season. Texans may pull one out on the rival Ravens...hopefully. Jets almost pulled it out for Rex against the Pats, but no. Wonder where Rex will be next year? Cards/Hawks will be interesting, amazed at the Cards after the QB mess they had but still hanging in. Looking forward to Colts and Boys... Have not seen the Cowboys playoff scenarios yet since the Eagles lost.
