I'm going for a morning brewski myself, so I'm opting for one of my alltime faves:

Both of those Christmas beers was good, David, especially the Sagene one. And both are local breweries, too, from my side of town, the east side.Cool

Had a taste of this earlier in the week, at a pinnekjøtt gathering at a friends house.

Both very good, especially the pinnekjøtt one (will try to get me one of those, to have something to wash down the Christmas ribb with on Christmas Eve). Have you tried out anything from this brewery, David? It's Danish, I believe.

Oh yes I have.
Drank these during a Movember party (basically just means that men develop an upperlip moustache during November to draw attention to testicular cancer. How a moustache achieves that, I have absolutely no ideaLOL)
And yes of course I was sponsoring my own moustache as wellBig smile
Anyway, they were pretty nifty and I drank quite a few.

I still prefer Mikkeler's brewery here in DK. If you ever come across something from Mikkeler, then take a chance with it. They make absolutely brilliant beer!

If you're ever visiting the US to check out beers, Portland, Oregon should be your first stop.

They've got a microbrewery every block, and of course, it's the home of Rogue.

I know what you mean.....I have been having trouble with kidney stones and the doc said it's related to gout in some people. BTW...I have not opened either bottle yet of those stouts ....I'm waiting until my stone passes.

Favorite summer ales and beers....?
I've been drinking Blue Moon, Linenkeugel Summer Shandy, and Sam Adams Summer Ale.
Any suggestions for nice refreshing light ales with maybe a citrus hint..?

Not an ale but definitely goes down light (especially when ice cold) Linenkeugel's Canoe Paddler but you'll have to look high and low to find some now.  It's a Spring brew only and it's sold out in my neck of the woods already.
