I thought Zappa would walk all over the Softs myself.  I think Riverside has a good chance against Zappa.

Yes, that Gong-Anglagard matchup should be a hoot.

Banco over Yes?  Ohhh...PFM maybe would have a real chance..  not Banco IMO. They will be a good Vegas underdog going into that. They'll get some love and respect, but not nearly enough support to really compete with Yes like PFM might have been able to do.

After only a quarter of a round of voting, only 4 of the original 176 participants have a chance at maintaining a perfect bracket. The rest of us either made a simple miscalculation, just wish to go against the grain even in the prog world, or are just plain out of our minds.

Who'da thunk that Le Orme would have given Rush such a run for their money. But Rush had that final gasp of air in them. They had Clockwork Angels, and what did Le Orme have? This round also saw two matchups go into overtime, one of the most exciting parts of this tournament. Interesting note on the overtime games.

I'm having the same problem. I've meant to check out all of these groups at some point, but I just never did. I think I'm going to listen to an album by each artist I've not listened to this week.

I'm looking forward to that. Indeed that whole Rome bracket is a killer.  One never predicts upsets of that kind of magnitude, but I do think the K.C. army will need to show up. Can is one of those bands who I think have a lot of latent love and respect in the prog community and definitely one of the few 'non-heavies' capable of pulling such an upset.
