I agree on both points brought up by Greg. The draft was a mess up this year and was never suppose to be in August. As for the waiver system next year we can extend the deadline to Wednesday and have the waiver order be the reverse standings. Any thoughts on if we want to make next year a keeper league or not?

Likewise, I've dropped my last 3, losing any shot.

Of those 7-5 teams you talk about, 2 of them play against the top 2 teams in the league, so you've still got a decent shot, assuming you win. :)

Who's NYG #1? I noticed you had a 5 game losing streak where your opponents averaged 135+ points per game. Ouch

One of the downsides of FF, no matter how good your team is, you can get incredibly unlucky with the schedule.

Me.
Yes, I had some pretty good games but opponents were just going insane! Also for most of the year I've had only real RB and my best TE is....not so greatLOL
Shame, because Rodgers is a beast and WR corps has been pretty damn good. Even better now that Josh Gordon is back but well...bit late! Also I picked up Ray Rice moment I heard the news, just in case a team picks him up but same thing, no point now.

Yeah, sh*t happens but the draft was a bit of a mess. I lucked out with a solid team, but despite trying my best to make some moves (which DID help me) it just isn't the same...and did derail my year. Equality Pat is in the same boat.

I know phil, aka man with hat, hasn't even checked his team this whole season..often having 2-3 players on bye but playing lol Irony, he got a pretty good team!
I saw he made only 1 move this entire season, when I asked what it was he said "Dropped Johnny Manziel" LOLLOLLOL

Irony...last 2 weeks my offense has exploded. 122 points already and I have 2 players, plus a kicker, still with whole halves to play.
This is the danger I guess to QB and WR heavy teams...so boom and bust.

Granted, I didn't draft much of this team BUT it ended up how mine usually are, weak at RB and TE stacked elsewhere. Shame Reggie Bush has bombed this year and Larry Donnel only had that one game ...been pretty mediocre since and tends to fumble on his bigger games!

I've had an amazing week with 160 points yet am still nervous over the fact my opponent has 96 points and still has Peyton Manning, Emmanual Sanders and C.J. Anderson remaining to still play. If 3 players can make up 64 points, those 3 could....easily.

IMHO keeper leagues take something away from the idea of starting anew every autumn.  What about franchise tagging?  You can keep one player, in exchange you give up a draft pick one round higher than what you drafted that player (if they were your first pick you still give up a #1 rounder).

I was in a league where you kept only one player, and it couldn't be from the 1st or 2nd round. The pick you kept would cost the same round draft choice as it did for you the previous year. Once you kept a player, you couldn't keep him again the next year.

I had rotten luck this year.  My players were either getting injured or injuring other people.  Looks like the Mrs. will be in the playoffs.

Yeah, I am against a keeper league myself. I do like the idea of a fresh start every year and having to build a whole new team. Just seems the way to be.

And yeah, some bad luck, and simply facing some ungodly opponents, but really missing the draft was my killer.
Next year I'll pay much better attention!

Just like the real Giants...I started hot, hit a dreadful mid season skid, and mounted a win streak near the end, but was too little too late (well except for recent years when the Giants just suck all year long LOL)
Ah well, not toooo bad considering I missed the draft.

I'm ready for next year! Good luck to yall in the playoffs

The Panthers are such trolls.  During the regular season they perform badly for me, and then once I'm knocked out of the playoffs, they get me 70+ points.  Ouch

They sure made the NFC South race may more interesting.

Unfortunately, the winner will probably host Dallas in the wild card round and beat them.

Actually, part of me feels like Dallas will be the team on the out looking in. Though I don't fully trust mark Sanchez I feel like theres enough talent there to compensate vs average to decent teams.

Just like the real Giants...I am having an epic game and it's totally meaningless LOL
It just has been inconsistency, but when all the players click like they expect: ho-ly sh*t
Rodgers and Julio alone have me 66 points

Guess this is the danger of the WR heavy theory I adhere too, so boom and bust, but damn it...with 2 solid backs (or even just one good one) I still say it can work. Nights like this give me faith!

Even though I took a loss, this week in fantasy was probably the funnest to watch. High scoring affairs leading into MNF where a lot of people came back from behind to win it.... not me though.

I kinda wished I played this week, but I had a bye. I would've scored at least 125 points, and probably closer to 140. Oh well.

You're next JJLehto. You're playing me, so this game does matter. Tongue
