With a lot going on around Corvus Stone, Coalition and Oceans 5 - I thought it might be interesting to have a chat with Colin Tench. We've picked a date in early december, so before Christmas I'll replace this post with the actual interview.

The interview is finally here - due to unexpected events it took me until last weekend to edit and finalise the recordings. Since it is a 51 minute audio recording (extracted form a 2 hour interview) I posted it on my blog. Below is part of the introductary text, and a link to the full post including the audio file.

On December 23rd, 2014, I spent a total of two hours on a Skype connection with Colin Tench, guitarist of BunChakezeOdin (Of London)Corvus StoneMinstrel's GhostOceans 5Colin Tench Project, and a few more new projects coming on this year. Ok, since you asked for it: Transmission Rails and Coalition. Last week, he concluded that he had been working non-stop on recording and mixing music for three whole years, in his snow cave somewhere in the (at this time of year still) freezing cold heart of Sweden. In this interview, he talks about how he ended up being a progressive rock fan and guitarist, how it could happen that the BunChakeze album was released just 25 years after being recorded, and what happened after that.

Not sure if it will be a read or a listen. Colin talks a lot, publishing the recording will be easier than doing transcription.

I am sure Colin was denied treatment at Bedlam Mental Institute, all this aside, he is an incredible musician, in whatever band he might be in he will make his fellow musicians shine, lift them up where  needed too with his guitar skills. He plays tunes, with an incredible sense of awww and wow this is what he is best at. He is also a very humble nice person, who has pushed many bands who have no connection to him under his wing, just because he thinks they are brilliant :) I think he is the ultimate Bedlam inmate I know Big smile hugs to all Hug

The interview was held a few weeks ago, I'm currently editing it to listenable size. Keep an eye out the coming 7 days!

I heard my name called. Good lord! Can this be known as "The interview"? At least until another one turns up.
