I was just re-reading a handful of my old reviews, and have come to the conclusion that I badly overuse the word "surreal".  Also, sometimes my syntax isn't as good as I think it be.

^ I am pretty sure I do the same with words such as "theatrical", "mid-tempo" (I love that!), "obvious" and so on...

you're not alone, but as long as your reviews are not surreal as such ... just take it easy Smile

Phiiiiiish! I am the worst writer of all time, but my passion and love for music gets me through a review without wanting to kill myself after I've finished the bloody thing.

I use transition words a lot, like however, moreover, meanwhile and therefore to an ungodly degree.

Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

More than reporting anything wrong, this is a curiosity: the reviewer says that Bob Klose is featured on the new David Gilmour's album, but the lineup on PA doesn't mention him. Does he really play on it?

Hi Luca

He was certainly on On An Island, Gilmour's last album. I am not aware of his appearance on the new one.

Hi there Luca and SteveSmile
I took the liberty of moving your posts to the 'reviews discussion' - a thread we don't use enough imo......and this is certainly where Luca's question belongs.

Hi.

Recent newcomer.

I hope to do some reviews but have a question about what one should do when another
review, of the same disc, has some bad information.  This particular case simply involves
stating a track was recorded live when it is a studio track.  This may seem mundane but it
is one of those tracks that I will make sure is stashed with my cryogenically frozen head once
I shuffle off, If you know what I mean (this track is immaculate, in my opinion).

I actually (just now) checked the reviewer info and I see that they are still active.  Review is
7 years old so I wasn't sure...

There is a "social review comments" option but I am considering a personal correspondence,
however those work, to find out if I'm greatly mistaken or to suggest a very minor edit to the
review;  I assume edits can be done but I'm not certain.

This may sound unimportant--in the scheme of things it probably is (what isn't?)
I will hopefully review the disc and said song will be big focus;  I want to clarify that it is a
studio track but don't want to mention other reviews or step on anyone else's toes.

I'll leave it at that as brain cramp has set it.
Wrong forum, maybe.

Crazy cookie-bomb for my first post.
