^ On cassette!!! Really...I will have to look for that. Our family van has ability to play cassettes as well as CD and DVD....I got rid of my cassette player about 10yrs ago, wish I had not as I think I could have fixed it. I still have TONS of albums on cassettes as well as vinyl dubs....Probably 100+ easily.
Now you have me thinking

There are several audio stores in Seattle that sell used/refurb gear. I had a super nice Akai deck, made the best tapes ever.....Would like to find another one. It was this one..... |

I had a nice cassette deck for a long time, back when I was into amassing a large collection of Phish concert tapes. That deck has stopped working, and I don't wish to replace it. My remaining cassette player is my old 4-track recorder which has the added advantage of overdubbing, variable speed control, and just plain screwing around.

Nice deck!! Ha..my wife's cousin was a huuuuuuuge Phish fan. He would record all their concerts, traveled all over to see them. Got banned from a few venues here in Seattle...He named his black lab Fee

TER sounds wonderful; and better than I had expected. It's like they took the best instrumentals moods of WYWH, DSOTM, AMLOR and The Bell and distilled them into 50+ minutes of pure PF essence. Please tell me you are going to write a nice review

^ It was a 2-head deck, direct drive. SuperGX heads was the glass enclosure, it made the best sounding tapes ever, especially using the metal type IV tapes. I bought this new in like 84'ish for like $250.00....I kick myself for not keeping it and trying to fix it.

Went to town today, while I have time, before starting to work next week. So I went to that specialized vinyl store I mentioned earlier to get some sleeves and records, but it was closed for good
Then I though I could go to the other store that had the Rush vinyl, but couldn't find it: it's very difficult to find a specific store in those many little streets. Instead, I found an antique store that I never saw before and bought some musically diverse LP's |
