I really like that Concerto Grosso album too! I always thought that the 2 minute opener is a great introduction or summary of prog rock, classical music and hard rock fused together so naturally.

And I must say this is one album I really don't mind the english vocals.

May not be the good Lucio's most prog moment ever, but I simply adore this track:

I play this on a regular basis - even among other humans. Any party without this is lacking....although it's a tune you put on when folks want to get up close and personal with one another.

I'm in a 'changing mood' lately, so she went by fast agreed. She'll be back though, don't worry.

Seems Goblin have a new album ready to go via a Kickstarter-type campaign:

http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/goblin

But $109 to get your name in the CD/LP booklet?! This is one Goblin-ite who'll be remaining unnamed and anonymous!

I think I will share the same fate. Good to hear that there will be some new Goblin.
I still wish Simonetti would be with them.

^ Too steep for my blood, but good news on the new LP!

I can't believe I have not heard of Logos until today, just happened to catch AtomicCrimsonRush's review of this album.
Logos L enigma della vita album cover

After one listen, it is my new favorite....love how they get into quite a few jam moments Thumbs Up

For those who like the folksy side of RPI, have you guys heard Dalton's Argitari?   Pretty tasty.

Banco will perform live in December!

As it looks vocals will be handeled by their old friend Angelo Branduardi and John de Leo (wow!)

Who ever does't know de Leo should check out Quintorigo (till 2005 with de Leo) (very underrated band here)

Does anybody have heared the Banco (half) "live" Album "un'idea che non puoi fermare". Awesome stuff!

Wow, for sure, they sound pretty cool! Thanks H!

Is the plan for them to carry on with him as the new vocalist for new Banco albums, or is he essentially performing as part of a `tribute' concert?

I think it is a one off. I'm not sure if Angelo and John will really sing or if they "read"
