still prefer Infin Freqs because more obscure and vapory butt i did like the harsher glitch aspects of Eccojams

i hear ya, i also still prefer that minimalist side
just like fuji grid tv, the eccojams tend to get so harsh and glitchy that it kind of kills the nostalgic feel

Audun I think I got buried in the listening thread, but it looks you've been on quite the Ulver marathon, what do you think so far?
nah, i saw it, was just about to respond to it. ulver's a band i still have mixed feelings about, but i find i'm enjoying them more with each listen, and this marathon's been my best ulver experience so far.

impressed by shadows of the sun, which i got recently. with further listens it might be up there with my favourite ulver albums like perdition city, blood inside, wars of the roses and the new one, terrestrials

what's you favourite ulver album, ryan q.m.

I would say Shadows of the Sun is my favorite Ulver, but it takes a certain mood before it really clicks.  A lot of people seem to compare it to soundtrack music.  I actually have mixed feels about their black metal trilogy, enjoying Bergtatt but the other two not so much.  The stretch of albums from perdition city to war of the roses are my favorite. Althought, I think I've been ODing on Ulver lately and could use a step back.
I'm glad your opinion is improving Thumbs Up
Haven't heard Nattens Madrigal, but I remember someone, Matt, I think it was, praising it, so it'll be the next Ulver album I pick up.

Almost done with my Ulver marathon, only Terrestrials left. Hopefully the new Kayo Dot is in the mailbox when I get home, but it's probably a couple of days too early (when was the release date again, the 16. q.m.), so if it's not I'll move on to a Tortoise marathon.
