Yeah, it's mostly made up of younger, inexperienced guys, aside from Raiola (who has been there half my life).  Plus, I'm not sure how well the tight ends block, either.

EDIT:  And it's done, Matt Prater is our kicker now.  Thank the Lord, finally, someone who can aim.

Actually, PFF to the rescue!

After 3 to 4 years of increasingly poor play, and disaster in 2013, Giants line is currently the 3rd bestShockedShocked
2nd in pass block, 4th in run block, 3rd best in penalties.
If this can be maintained, things look very good for us. Eli needs a line.

Well...I dont watch the Lions so have to believe PFF (but they do a great job and always seem to have their analysis line up with what I do see) they have Detroit at #18.  15th in pass block, 21st in run. They were 8th last year so it does look like a big drop off.

^I'm not panicking yet because we have a real coach now in Jim Caldwell, so I feel like he'll do what's necessary to fix what's broken and tweak the things that need tweaked.  I wouldn't have said that before with Schwartz.

JJ Watt is not human. Sincerely, he must have been dropped from space, dude is a freak.

24-0 thought this was another blowout but Houston really fought back and upped their game.
An exciting TNF game :O

Arian Foster is also a beast and one of my favorite players in the NFL, what a fun game.

Yeah, it has.  Unfortunately, that terrible PI call on Houston gave the Colts another chance to keep their lead.  Otherwise, it would be Texans ball and only down by 5.

EDIT: Well, after two separate self-inflicted mistakes, the Texans comeback falls short and they can only blame themselves for not being able to do it.  The Colts let them get way too close after being up 24-0.

Yeah up 24-0 it really is more impressive Houston even that got that close.

Watt had 2 sacks, 3 tipped balls, 3 tackles for loss, hit luck 4 times in total, and the return TD. What a beast. Credit the guy for being a one man wrecking crew, because the secondary certainly isn't gunna do it! What a torching by Luck and Hilton.

But hey, great game! It does impress me what Houston does with what seems like not much. Imagine if they had a real QB!

Well well a good Thursday game for a change, I was ready to hit the panic button after the 1rst quater.

Yes, Watt must be from another planet, rarely do you see one defensive player do so much damage. Good performances by Luck and Hilton as well as Foster. Fitzpatrick's play makes me want to pull my beard hair out at times...LOL.

Little bit worried about Steelers against the Browns Sunday, Browns are playing much better and Pitt is playing very erratic...

Cowboys and Seahawks should be an interesting game, of course always root against the Cowboys...

Watt was epic.  Great finish to the game, Houston showed a lot of heart, but you can't dig yourself that deep a hole.

That beard may be the best thing Fitz has going for him!

Well, guess he's alright honestly, just not great and too erratic. Least he's been around for a while and got that nice contract in Buffalo, so financially... he's made that Harvard degree work for himLOL

Indeed, just like last week I am pulling for Seattle big time! We need all the help possible, and Dallas actually has me a bit worried for the first time in like 7 yearsShocked

Prime time game between Giants and Philly, so hope at the least we don't embarrass ourselves. I feel hopeful, their defense is a problem, and their offense is scary but not quite the same, still division game...bound to be brutal.

Yes, it will be. Hoping Sherman get's the better of that battles! Maybe they can shut down the run game too and pressure Romo. That line is good though, damn it Jerry for finally being smart Cry

On the flip side, Denver/Jets at least on paper appears to be the most painful game on the schedule!
Can only imagine how that one will go down, and in classic Rex Ryan fashion: After Michael Vick admitted he was "not prepared to play" Ryan applauded his "guts" and it was "exactly what I wanted"
...
Apparently what he wants is for players to take a critical look at themselves and admit they can be better.
Politician Rex Ryan at his bestLOL the Jets media has been ready to run this guy out of town with pitchforks, and even Sportscenter was calling him out for just "smoothing things over" until he's booted by years end. What a joke he's become, and honestly all because he neglected the offense by choice and seemed to loathe the QB position. Shame.

Well plenty of game to go, but so far your apprehension of Pitt playing Cleveland is accurate! 21-3 Browns at the 2 min warning before half.

Also 38-0 Bal over TB by half, Flacco with 5 TDs!?!?!  Good lord...that defense is sh*t LOL
Wonder if they regret letting Revis go!

Shocking start to the Jets game, a Geno smith lef TD drive Shocked and their fierce pass rush harassed Peyton, but seems things are starting to turn in Denver's favor.
EDIT: Aaaaaaand there it goesLOL Peyton has adjusted to the pressure and eating their weak secondary alive. Julius and Demaryius Thomas, should be illegal!
Also, I'm willing to admit it could just be the jets poor line and Geno's horrible awareness but with the adds of Talib, Ward and Ware + Von Miller this is a good looking defense.

^ Yes, it is what I feared would happen.  My Steelers are very inconsistant this year and the Browns are looking much better.  I think Troy is done, he is out of position much of the time and does not have that explovisness he once had to make up for it.  I am almost beginning to think like MoM of last year or two, I am beginning to question Tomlin as a coach, the core of the team are from Cowher's days for the most part.  Frustration I guess....

Anyway, the Cowboy Seahawk game was a good one and Dallas looks like they are serious this year, as painful as that is to say....

Man, the Giants don't look good tonight, not sure what is going on with them as they have looked good of late.

SO that #3 O line the Giants had so far are really looking great! Dead
Not sure what's worse, the sh*t pass blocking or the penalties. This is pathetic.
I'm hesitant to cite stats, but not watching the Eagles it's all I can go by. They didn't seem to have a ferocious pass rush, and considering we went against Arizona and JJ Watt I can't believe how totally manhandled they were. Like that was seriously shameful.

That beautiful pass and epic catch by Donnell was negated by a penalty, and needless to say Cruz is done for the year, (could tell moment he was carried off) so that's great. Hope he can return to for 2015...

Yeah Cowboys are legit, and not just because they beat Seattle. That O line is really damn good, and they seem to have a lot of solid, no name, no flash but good players. Its like the anti cowboys! Jerry Jones has learned how to build a team, apparently :O  and we joke, but Romo is good and he's not really been chokey in recent years. This is not good!

Crazy day it seems with Seattle losing at home, a tie, and the browns crushing Pittsburgh.

And of course...I don't play Flacco in fantasy. Cry thank god Brady wasn't horrid today. Unlike the gmen, who were putrid.

Realization Cruz is out the whole year fully sunk in. Jernigan on IR so guess we can see if this speedy Parker can step up, or maybe give Washington more play time. Pre season or not that was a helluva few games he had.

I've not seen something so one-sided since, well, the Patriots-Chiefs LOL

To me the worst news for the Giants is their next five games:

@Dallas, Indy, @Seattle, SF, Dallas

If the giants can muster up decent play they can be somewhat competitive with Indy IMO. The others however...
