Stage Vol 5 - a whole disc of late 60s Mothers, lots of unreleased tracks. Another disc of a virtually complete concert from '81 that's got some great moments. Second place would be Ahead of their Time for its documentation of a legendary and unique '68 concert.

I suppose I'd have to pick Vol 2 (got the Japanese version at a vv reasonable price. Classic. The Shut Up set was played all the time complete... I found it fascinating that FZ took the instrumental breaks from Inca Roads (v.v.v. often) and issued them as new numbers.

Oh, thank you. I know you did this just for me. It's hard to choose between each of the Shut Up N Play discs, so I'll just vote for the first in the set; Shut Up N Play Yer Guitar.

^Yes and no HF. It's hard to categorize so many different Zappa albums but I'm trying my best.

The 3-disc Shut Up, I suppose, or Guitar.

Lots of great stuff on the YCDTOSA serie but can't pick one over any other.

I can live without Tinseltown and the first half of Ahead (not the biggest fan of early live Mothers) and man, Playground makes me .
