Thanks for posting that clip, Sam!
OK, so I'm just going to say it....barely a few seconds in when Dave's guitar takes flight, and I'm already falling to my knees at the Altar of Gilmour worshipping this false idol.

Ah, damn, you got to the `' avatar before I did, Sam!
I'm actually going to likely get the Bluray edition...but damn, if I want to include it on my Floyd shelf, it's going to stick out just as badly as that first pressing of the `PULSE' album! That sucker doesn't fit on ANY CD shelf!

The BD is blue-ray. As far as I've understood it this can only be played if you do have a blue-ray player. The content is the same though, I hope, since I only have a DVD player.

DVD includes 5.1 in 24/48 resolution....The BR disc includes 5.1 in hi-res 24/96 resolution with some additional tracks. The CD in standard redbook 16/44...

So it's the resolution then, I hadn't noticed. Thanks for the enlightenment José Since I'm an headphone guy and I don't own a Blu ray player, I'll buy a stereo release

I have a dilemma though: CD or Vinyl
I definitely hope it will turn out to be both vinyl-worthy and available on vinyl. You see, if you have appropriate equipment, you can make a CD from vinyl, but good luck doing it the other way around.

Yes it is available on vinyl 180g dbl vinyl, mixed by Doug Sax who does excellent work. It will also come with a download card, I assume FLAC or 320kbps mp3...Here is the vinyl link.

BR players are inexpensive now....You can then run the BRP thru a nice Headphone/DAC that can process the 24/96 audio and you will be in HP bliss..

^ You're talking about the stereo 24/96 and not the 5.1 one, right? I didn't see about the download card either I guess I'll go for the vinyl then: I was considering the CD because I wanted a digital support of the album. Also because I don't own any 180g vinyl and I want to see how that turns out

Did anyone else read how Roger's getting pissed off because people keep asking him if he's playing on it?
Poor Rog....no doubt annoyed he's going to be missing out on millions of dollars that the album will make! Boo hoo
That's alright, he can do back to tinkering away on that album he's been working on for almost twenty years now that will never get completed.....or, you know, it's been a year, must be time for him to drag `The Wall' back out again.....
