I'm not sure if there are any lyrics out there that I relate to personally, but of course there are many lyrics and lyricists who write so well that I am emotionally moved by them. Ray Davies and the Kinks often get me choked up. Ever heard Waterloo Sunset? DAY-UM

The Wings played the Penguins last night in their first pre-season game, so I'd say probably 2 or 3 weeks before the regular season begins.
