On the Facebook of prog mag.they made a concert review of Kate bush and starts saying "" the queen of prog ......"" so my question is is she the queen prog or that belongs to ANNIE HASLAM or for you who is the queen of prog

Annie Haslam seems the obvious pick, but my personal favorite female singer is Jerney Kaagman of Earth & Fire

Take it, Jerney --

I'm not sure I dislike any woman enough to call her that.

Well, I do not know exactly who is the queen of classic prog (Anny Haslam or Jerney Kaagman or Kate Bush), but I'm pretty sure who is the princess of contemporary prog - with her outworldly & charismatic voice, certainly that's Marjana from iamthemorning.

Not wanting to sound anti-feminist, but I don't think there is a women performer with a sufficient contribution to the genre to warrant a "queen of prog" title.

I'd go for Annie H over Kate Bush any day. But for me, there's been no female vocalist that tops Christina Booth. A true Prog-Goddess
.........but I could always admit Dagmar Krause is the Princess without question .......

^ Keiko !!!!!   Personally, I'd say Kyoko and her Rickenbacker bass . And if you named yourself after an amazing VDGG track, then you ROCK severely

Well, in another thread I said The Beatles of Prog were The Beatles, so using the same logic, the Queen of Prog would be Queen.
Bigger on the inside.
