Just read that Danny Carey is filling in for Tim Alexander while he recovers from heart surgery. Should be able to catch some dates in September.

I didn't know Herb had a heart attack, wtf??

But great news Carey is filling in for Herb, I wonder how this will sound.

And since this thread poped out, did anybody enjoy their latest album??

I was a little disappointed, I expected it to be much much better.

I wasn't aware of Tim's condition, but playing the drums the way he does.......(hope he recovers promptly).
Love their quirky style, absolutely worship Punchbowl......
Les is an alien......

Punchbowl is my favourite too, Frizzle Fry is a very close second and was the first Primus album I got.
Brown Album and Green Naugahyde are my least fav.

Primus indeed suck like no other band Big smile

Brown Album has some cool tracks (Bob's Party Time Lounge is a killer) but it sounds like it was recorded in the out-house.
Naugahyde has some weird sh*t on it.
Pork Sode is my least fave from them.
Punchbowl is amazing - never tire of this one. Frizzle too.

My favorite Primus albums are Pork Soda and Tales From The Punch Bowl. Their most 'accomplished' albums IMHO.

Frizzle Fry is my favorite, ground hogs day has helped me get out of bed in the morning on numerous occasions.

Antipop isn't talked about much. It too has some killer tracks.
I thought Les went all Zeuhl on The Last Voyage Of The Liquid Sky. Sounded like Jannik Top guested on bass
