A day in the life, but only by a little bit, Within You Without You is the next best one.

"A Day In The Life". No questions asked. I remember hearing that as a kid and thinking "That's the Beatles?". Never heard anything like it, with the string crescendo freaking me out at the time.

I kind of want to say Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, but that might just be because A Day In The Life already has so many votes. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. Hm, no vote today.

If you're referring to the gibberish at the end, it's just a random piece of conversation cut out of a piece of tape and designed to play endlessly in a loop in the run out of the original vinyl LP (and it doesn't say "F*** you like Superman backwards" as some have suggested).

and Paul McCartney kind of apologized for that coincidence when some kids told him about this back in the day from my memory of reading an internet article about this album.
