* That new Knifeworld is just awesome. Kavus Torabi is my new hero!
* The new Accordo Dei Contrari is even better than the previous one. They don't need Richard Sinclair anymore, that's for sure!
* Dean Watson is perhaps my favorite doing instrumental progressive rock with a jazz-twist. 'Imposing Elements' is my favorite but 'Fantasizer' is getting there too! And it got a xylophone-solo! :D
* Sparkle In Grey is postrock with a progressive twist, but The Calendar is something really different. Play it loud late at the evening with lights off. For more regular releases, see my favorite 'Mexico' at PSC!

As if they've never left!

* Renaissance - Symphony Of Light

Dedicated to 'Renaissance Man' Michael Dunford, and with new (amazing!) artwork by singer Annie Haslam herself, "Symphony Of Light" is in fact "Grandine Il Vento" (released 2013) with three extra tracks, making it 68 minutes! Brought to you by Red River Entertainment, Progstreaming thinks this is a better title, it has a better artwork and it's available way easier than that previous edition.. I already forgot it's title! You should buy a copy immediately.

It's a stunning return of Renaissance, and truly one of the best reunions of late. Which makes the sudden passing of Michael Dunford even more sad. Here's to him!

Oh, and the band features part-time Camel-member and full-time I And Thou-member Jason Hart.
