I'm a big fan of AOR myself, although with Journey, I have to say I kind of liked their pre-Steve Perry stuff better. I liked the rockier songs fronted by Steve Perry, but some of their ballads were just (Faithfully, Open Arms, etc.)
I can't complain.  Those ballads have been very good to me over the years.  I like them.

Thought their debut, Cowboy Music, lacked a bit of the energy I've found on these brilliant jazz-rocker's later releases, but it wasn't bad. Let's see how the next one holds up...
