Milla - 'The Divine Comedy'

Before she became the Fifth Element and zombie and bad-guy killing action girl, Milla Jovovich released this folksy album while still a teen, and I'm dumbfounded because I can't think of too many young model/actresses who put out a music album like this. Very few in fact. Some of these tunes, such as "The Alien Song", even veer into prog folk territory. Definitely a strong Kate Bush influence, but with more acoustic guitars and mandolins and less piano. There's some really good songs here with imaginative lyrics to boot. Glad I grabbed this CD, considering I had no idea what to expect.
