More winter on it's way. Highs in the low to mid 30s and a chance for substantial snow on Tuesday.

There is a famous bossa nova song from Vinicius de Morais which tells: ...that are the march waters "closing" summer season...
For the first time in our climate history only some rain drops for almost the whole summer (the most raining season) - people concerned about further risks of blackouts. Meanwhile, huge problems of flooding in Amazonas end Pará (north of Brazil), causing destruction of the "eco-system" all around, as well as life tragedies for the residents and native population too. |

^Sorry about the wrong data ! that bossa nova was composed by Tom Jobim (Águas de Março), shame on me...
Anyway a quite better suitable song for this last summer is: "Rain drops falling on my head... " |

We have been spoiled lately. March was extremely mild and sunny and April was fine as well. Last week we have had max temperatures between 11 and 15°C with some rain (yesterday was the worst day with more than 13 hours of rain and a maximum of 11,7°C), but something better is expected for the end of this week .

The weather here in Reno is ungodly - 92F (33C). Hot as f$%k, I'm having a slight headache, and a difficulty breathing.

Tomorrow's high will be 100 degrees. The heat index will be 107. We had been lucky in avoiding the 100s so far, so unlike the last two years. I have outdoor work to do on my land and have squandered some of these cooler days. I will pay for that.

Same here, the backyard needs some heavy tending and we've been over 100 for a couple of weeks with little chance of temps dipping any lower for some time. Right now it's 101, feels like 111. We're going hiking in the Catalina foothills on Friday. Hope to get on the trail by 5:30am, since we'll be out there about 3 hours. Any later than that and it'll be too hot to handle. |

Very cold, feels like an autumn evening, prefer this to those 30°+ though.
