I have no trouble with Simonetti's Goblin site,
up and running. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Goblin-Claudio-Simonettis/608532229212354 Concerts were cancelled out of contract conflicts. Chery Five reunion is really cool. A band reunites that never exited at all (they where already Goblin when they recorded that album) The "other" Goblin is also in running order: https://www.facebook.com/goblinofficialpage?notif_t=fbpage_fan_invite Edited by TheH - July 01 2014 at 14:12 |

Nick, I just went to the `Simonetti's Goblin' website, clciked on the Facebook link there....and nothing. The page has gone, so makes me wonder if that incarnation has folded as well...

Actually Nick, I don't think any of the current `Claudio Simeonetti's Goblin' or `New Goblin' members are part of that Cherry Five line-up, so don't know what happened...HAve you checked their sites of Facebook pages? Sorry to hear about that, mate!

That is amazing news and could shed some light as to why my Goblin concert got cancelled for July 18th. Still great news though. Thank you my buddy. |

Hey there Den-izens, were any of you aware that Cherry Five, the pre-Goblin band, have reformed?! Two of the original members Tartarini Antonio and Carlo Bordini have added Gianluci De Rossi of modern RPI band Taproban on keyboards (an exceptional player!), Pino Sallusti on bass and Ludwig Piccinini on guitar.
They are currently recording a new album that translates to `The Well of the Giants', and it wll be out on Black Widow later in the year! Exciting news for some of us I'm sure! |

Been a while since I visited this one....perfect for a summer night. Checked their website and it appears there is no news....maybe this band will end up a one-off, in the tradition of some of the classic bands....

Hope you survived your D-Day! That Le Orme album was my second RPI album that I purchased and is in my top 3 of RPI...so far. Been listening to this one lately, good stuff! Real accademia di musica, its on the Tube...sorry do not have the link handy.

Dunno, my 'D-Day' is tomorrow............(just ask Aussie-Byrd......).
If I never appear on P.A. again, blame it on IGA....... Seriously though, still, to this day, my ultimate, ultra-fave RPI fave has got to be Le Orme's Uomo di Pezza. May this fact be known ( and I have well over 100 RPI Prog LP's)....... Hard to beat this Orme album for me..... Edited by Tom Ozric - June 23 2014 at 04:54 |

Yes, I love it Pierre, might listen to it on the way home from work soon!
Other then where they originate from, does the Sintesis one have any relation to the Agnus album? Beautiful artwork on that one too! Will give the clip a spin when I'm home - short album at 27 minutes! |

Very good album, Mike. Personally I prefer the Sintesis album from 76. But only Lp.

Pierre, I bought the CD reissue of this one about a year ago, some of the vocals are a little dated, but it's generally excellent. I've kept it on my Ipod so I can eventually review if hopefully!
I think you'll dig this one too, Nick! Check out this promo track of samples of the album: As soon as there's some full clips I'll post them. |
