I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Bye-bye, England. I guess Greece will be joining you in a few hours (still crossing my fingers, though that seldom seems to help).

England looked really bad at finishing their chances and Suarez was clinical....

Maybe my fingers'll help them along

Strange to think that England never really does well in these tournaments. Too many egos? Seriously I have no idea. On paper they should be the bee's knees.
Doesn't help that a key figure like Gerrard isn't playing well either.

I agree. Sad really. At the end I was actually hoping for the equalizer.

Also I know Rooney made his first goal and all but he should've made one more, at least. Huge chance he missed. In Denmark we call that a "direktør".

And now ready for the game of the century, Japan-Greece.

Very hard group and England was actually better than many of the previous squads that played in past tournaments as far as I can remember.I will agree about Gerard though, an extremely negative factor for a team for which he should the inspiring force.

Damn I'm looking forward to hearing the Danish commentators trying to wrap their lips around that one.

Anyway, go Greece!!!

I shouldn't joke about Japan - Greece. I'm sure for people not born in Ecuador like me, Ecuador - Honduras is probably as much "match of the century" as the former.
