THE LATEST RELEASE IN THE TODD RUNDGREN ARCHIVE SERIES!

London, UK - Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release in the Todd Rundgren Archive series. "Live at the Electric Ballroom” was recorded in Milwaukee on the 23rd October 1978 and captures Todd Rundgren and Utopia in fine form. Recorded for an FM radio simulcast, this concert has remained in the vaults until this two-CD release which features the entire concert. Featuring such classic material as “Real Man”, “Can We Still Be Friends”, “Black Maria”, “The Seven Rays”, “Couldn’t I Just Tell You”, “Hello, It’s Me” and many more, the concert has been mastered from the original broadcast tapes.

This Esoteric Recordings release features an illustrated booklet with new essay notes.

I might check this out, Rundgren's early works are near-masterpieces in my eyes. I wish they did Singring and the Glass Guitar, though! Utopia Theme, The Ikon... It's like Genesis playing their early works WITHOUT including Supper's Ready or The Cinema Show.

Todd and Utopia were great, even in the early 80's. More Prog during the mid-70's admittedly, but still awesome musicians that put on a great show........
