We don't feel that bad over here in blighty.  We are quite happy with our team. Just a shame about the result!

(ooh side netting. That got them excited)

And Portugal please Tongue

We've pretty much given up by now. Loosing four players from the starting eleven is a rude blow, and the US looked very cynical, don't anticipate a good outcome from that match.

Yeah, England were quite good, they can be proud despite the loss. I trust them to pick themselves together and ease past the nest two games.

That was one of the most enjoyable No-Goal games I've seen.

Well that's the worst goalkeeping mistake so far.

I wasn't sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me there. Right through his hands, he seemed to thinking ahead right there instead of making sure he had it first. I bet no one was happier than that goalie when Russia tied it up.

It was frustrating especially in the first half when the Belgiums seemed in control and yet they could not penetrate the Algerian defence, they just kept passing it around well outside the box. They improved a lot in the second half though, an interesting game to watch. And I loved the afros a couple of the guys were sporting for Belgium.Big smile

Was the first Belgium goal made with the head or the hair? Tongue

I think the afro hair style is returning to the highlights - not only Belgium but also Brazil, Colombia, England, USA and a couple of others. The mohawk hair style is still alive and well too. Smile

It was reminiscent of the old English way of playing, stick a big man up front an pump crosses into the box. Of course he plays for Man United. I was watching with some MU fans and they wondered why he didn't do that during the season.
