^^ you could argue the French youngster could have been sent off but yes overall agree, very agressive play

^ I think Germans will see it through in one way or another

A goal every 10 minutes would be a tad fanciful perhaps?/ (though I hope you're right) Ermm

a 1-1 draw for me (Germany are not in a good place mentally and I think an otherwise limited Portugal team can exploit this)

Despite your misgivings pixelated bovine, yes. The Germans have injury concerns (Marco Reus is unavailable) while Schweinsteiger, Lahm and Neuer were considered doubtful as recently as 24 hours ago. Although I expect all three to start the match they are NOT 100% fit.. I personaly would love to see Germany win the tournament simply because in its aftermath, every coach would attempt to copy a very exciting and entertaining style of football. Nuff said.

Reus is the best talent of the Germans to my eyes and a hell of an absence.I expect a draw after a match to remember considering the quality of the matches we've seen so far.Propably the best qualifying group of all, Ghana and USA are great teams as well and could make another interesting battle later in the day.

Honestly, I expect Portugal and Germany to provide the real first yawn fest of a 0-0 of this World Cup. Hope I'm wrong.

only good news is this one caught the average of goals already... but the Portuguese are completely passionless.

Missed the first half.  What's wrong with Portugal?

Are they that bad or Germany that good?

they are absolutely passionless, I follow the Portuguese team since the mid-90's, one of my fave teams due to its technical playing, this is one of their worst performances I have ever seen...and CR7 seems like a fish out of water.

Germans play with full energy and 3-0 at the half is a reasonable score...Pepe is also out with red card.

Haha! Only 10 of them on the pitch and they still contrive to get in each others way!

What was the sending off for?

Team USA will be hoping for a similar performance from Portugal when they play each other in the next game.
