Damn fine album, and i absolutely adore Andy Edwards drumming on it.

Hey Phil!
I listened to Pharoah Sanders' Elevation this morning, and I remember me recommending it to you. Have you had the chance to check it out, or are you more of a "wait until I get the release" kinda guy?

A Motorpsycho playlist I've created. It's long, so I probably won't get through it tonight.

I must admit...I've forgotten about it. It appears to be on youtube...so I'll get to it tonight!

As for the broader question...I generally prefer some sort of preview before buying (especially as funds get allocated for other things). If a full preview is available I'll go for that...if not I generally like one or two full songs that capture the overarching spirit of the release.

Strong Zeppelin and Doors influences along with 90's heavy alternative rock with lots of eastern instruments thrown in. Sounds like a recipe for disaster but the guys can cook. Great how they pulled it off.
