It could just be the come-down that comes with the anticlimax after the tax season.  Your desire to flee may be there all the time, but I can imagine it's magnified once you have some down time to dwell on it.

Also, it is Stevie Ray Vaughan time.  I've not listened to him much at all in the last 10-15 years or so.  I used to listen to him quite a bit around the time that he died.  Both before and after.

I've not seen that DVD.  A co-worker at my old job turned me on to him.  He was a big blues fan. He was big into Frank Zappa, Johnny Winter, and SRV amongst others.  Sadly, this co-worker died too young, like a couple of these musicians that he idolized.

Hey guys I was in contact on facebook with the man who helped set up the official Triumvirat web site, wrote the band bio there, and was instrumental in getting EMI to remaster the Triumvirat albums in 2002.
                    He told me some sad news that Helmut Koellen had been doing a lot of drugs near the end of his life. Happens to so many. I don't know if drugs were involved in his death at all.

It doesn't diminish his accomplishments as a musician at all.

its wrong in some places, Jeff Buckley is placed on 3 octaves, i yhink he is 4 octaves, Morten Harket of a-ha is listed as 3 and is 5 octave range, George Michael is listed as 2 and is nigh 5 octaves
