Hi,

It's really hard to pick, as I find all of the albums very nice. Khon probably takes the cake as being the most recognizable piece in concert for them (for me!).
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Wurdah Itah crushes MDK
Much better production and melody than the repetitive boredom of side 2 of MDK
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Suffice to say, it's not one of my favourite Zeuhl moments.

Exactly how I feel about M.D.K, but more than it being a decent album it's a defining moment for the band, so I get why it is being so highly appreciated.

As of now it has to be M.D.K. but I'm trying my best to expand my knowledge of their music because it truly fascinates me.
Man what an awesomely unique band

K.A. (Kohntarkosz Anteria)

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Udu Wudu for me. Wink MDK and Kohntarkosz are close (it's probably just a preference really.) Love Atahk too.

What happened to the debut ??? That's probably my fave, it just has much more variety and variation than the more focused works that came after. Still, 1001 Centigrades, Kohntarkosz and Uduwudu are close.

It's quite alright Scott:-)
I would've voted for Köhntarkösz anyway. I think it's the only MAGMA album that reflects the power of the band live successfully.

Magma at their most teutonic.

Also where is Kobaïa? Or was it left out on purpose?

As quite often has happened with polls, the first album has accidentally been placed in the poll question slot (under the name Magma in the case of this poll).

My particular favourites are Kobaïa, Wurdah Ïtah, 1001° Centigrades, and Attahk.

I was wondering where the debut was as well, but anyway I picked Kohntarkosz

Ah I had the Magma album in  mind instead of Magma (Kobaïa)

but the debut is the debut

will fix the title on OP

Köhntarkösz was my first Magma vinyl
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

You didn't list the best one, so I went with my runner-up by giving the first vote to Attahk

A negative number was raised to a power that is not an integer.
