A Van Halen day, I see. Excellent.  Those are fun days

Today - before this I was listening to

BELLE AND SEBASTIAN - "the Life Pursuit" (2006)
excellent band and album

And now

THE FALL - "Room to Live" (1982)
One of their weaker albums released during a 6-7 year run of nearly flawless albums, so it's still pretty great.

Now for one of the first two CDs that I bought the day that I bought my first CD player.  Given I only had 2 CDs at the time this one got a lot of plays in the day.  I was reading Stephen King's It at the time, and that is still one of my favorite stories of his and this album was my soundtrack to that book.

^ that album reminds me of sophomore year college, I used to listen to it quite a bit then.  they guy across the hall played "Finish What Ya Started" at least once a day at loud volume, sometimes late at night.

I went to see them on that tour, too, come to think of it.  Only time I've seen em.
