21. Lateralus (1901) - Tool
This ends all discussions of 'first prog album ever'.
And yeah, I voted for 'Red'.

Yes, ITCOTCK should be deleted from the list. Seventies KC?!
Larks' Tongues is my favourite from the SEVENTIES

Starless, Red and Lark's provide the best music of the long KC career. It's hard to vote for any of the three individually. I'd rather vote by era, but, I chose Starless. |

King was released in 1969, so what is it doing in poll of 70's
Krimson albums?

I was just going to say the same thing, what the hell?

Ok very childish, but the only interesting thing I could say about KFC.
I mean KC.
All their stuff sounds kinda unfinished to me and fills me with the urge to say "where is the tune" or "this is not music, this is noise!"
UGHHH

Stop that now you nasty, nasty man.
Really, King Crimson are very melodic. I remember hearing two notes on ITCOTCK that were in the same scale once...
I love that debut album but I have a soft spot for Starless and Bible Black too.

RED
Not a big KC fan, but I do like Red agreat deal, especially 'Fallen Angel' and 'Starless'
ITCOTCK has some classic moments, but is a little chaotic for my taste. '21st century schizoid man' will always be a classic prog song.
