Thanks for the link, always worth hearing/reading Wakeman's interviews.
Major pity the work with Lord never eventuated, it would have been a supurb piece of work I'm sure. |

Indeed, I wish that album with Lord had been done.

Looking forward to seeing him on the 3rd May in Bournemouth. You should see his doing a number of interviews and promotional appearances in the lead up to his Journey gigs. Planet Rock radio tonight may have him. Darren Redick hosts a prog show between 9 and 10 (BST) but there are often celeb interviews on the 8 to 9 slot (Don Airey and Carl Palmer have been featured recently) so its worth keeping an ear out thursday nights (Channel 0110 if you have Sky)

Heard the Airey one but missed Carl Palmer. B*gger! Shame Planet Rock (and Team Rock who also have some good guests) don't seem to have an iPlayer. |

I missed most of the Palmer one. Tonight the interview was David Davies (The Kinks) which didn't interest me so I didn't listen to it. Darren played Genesis - Can Utility And The Coastliners as well as Rush - Xanadu (Exit Stage Left version) plus some Haken and other newer stuff. Always like his show. Good mix of old and new.

Rick was on Planet Rock last night talking to Darren Redick. The show will be be split into - first part lots of anecdotes and stories about prog never told before (I assume with some music). The second part is Journey. He also has something lined up for the encore ( ''if we get one'') that will be unexpected. Intriguing.
