May I recommend:
Europe
Doro
Armored Saint
Helloween
Stryper
Yngwie Malmsteen (Honorary Progger, really)
BloodGood
Queensryche

Who am I kidding, If anybody wants to say Symphony X (Prog Metal) or Mehida (Christian Prog Metal),
LET THEM COME!

I am not familiar with BloodGood, but I am a fan of all of the other bands that you listed.

Also, you may want to check out PA's sister site MMA.  Sadly it isn't nearly as active as PA but the metalheads amongst us do spend some time there.  http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/forum/

BloodGood is a Christian Metal band from the 80s, founded by Michael Bloodgood, with Les Carlson on vocals.
Their first album (Self-Titled) is awesome. One of my all-time favorites. Very classic sounding.
You should check it out. If you like Judas Priest & Stryper, you should like them.
They have a new album out, Dangerously Close, but it is much different than their first, however, it is their first new one in several years.

What is your problem with formatting?!
It just looks plain and ugly when I see a post as long as mine without any bold or italics.
It's like there's no distinction, and too much coming in all at once!
With my Bolding Etc., it all stays at least a little lightweight.

Can I get A... Aww-Nahw?

At least it's not as bad as Sean Trane posting in yellow font on MMA and JMA.  Though to his credit, his posts are at least mostly comprehensible.

Haven't ventured too far from prog metal, but I like Carcass and Arch Enemy quite a bit.
EDIT: And Strapping Young Lad

EDIT EDIT: Ozzy and uncle Alice too, duh. Must not have been thinking last night. Tongue

Are you trying to say my posts are not comprehensible?
Do you... not speak English or something?
Or find my very unusual dialect of plain slightly southern influenced English hard to understand?
Because I'll be all too happy to have Google Translate place it in a lovely form of Swahili.

Sorry guys... :/

No hard feelings, I hope.

Don't sweat it. Smile

The only lasting harm was done to my eyes with that text formatting. God, my eyes. Tongue

Those bands are up there for me as well Clap

However, Godflesh will always win a "favorite band" poll in my heart.
