Olympic hockey > NHL
Pulling for Bylsma, Shero, Orpik, and Martin to take home golds. Jussi Jokinen and Olli Maata to take home silver. Sid already has a gold so he can get a bronze. Sorry I can't root for Geno because he's playing with that one-trick-pony douche Ovechkin so hope Russia goes wanting again. Sweden is full of Red Wings playing that awful interference system and have an overrated goalie so hope they don't medal. Also, screw Jagr and that overrated ogre Chara.

Time always wins.

Which doesn't matter now as they proceeded to lose to a zero victoried Denmark and a heartbreaker to Sweden and remove all hopes they have of making the Semis.

At least the men had off today and thus didn't lose!

And note the chessboard on Kamil's helmet - it's the emblem of Polish Air Forces!

Man, did the Fins get hosed by the officials today. Canada commits three egregious penalties, right out in the open, all near the puck and none of them get called. Hey refs, in not calling blatant penalties you effect the outcome more than in calling them because you pervert the outcome.

Big smile Congratz to our girls! Three orange tunics look a bit familiar nowadays, but this is one of those rare moments when I think there should be four places on the podium.
