I think, that as time goes by, Tangerine Dream/Edgar Froese and Klaus Schulze will also be remembered and appreciated. If there is one thing against them, it is that they own their own publishing rights and release their own music, so a "corporate" affair, like this award will likely NEVER be given anyone else that is independent, like these are.
 
It's nice to see, but in reality, the Berlin school that all these folks came from deserves far more attention than Kraftwerk.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
