JJ - Nothing personal but my main problems with the 49ers have nothing to do with the style of play which I happen to love. It's two things (1) I'm a Seahawks fan (2) The constant whining from players, coach and fans about everything. They've got more conspiracy theories than Ravens fans. There is not a mass conspiracy to rob the 49ers of their rightful title.
Go Seahawks!!

Yeah if you want to see the crybabies fans up close just read the rants and raves section of the seattle craigslist.

Boy did that game turn into a yawnfest.
Hoping game two is better.

All NFL fans are whiners...that does not win you a game. I am a Seahawk fan, now that my Saints are out, but I picked this matchup also with the 49ers winning the NFC title, I still think they are playing better ball right now than the Hawks. 49ers shutdown the throwing game, if any, of Cam. They need to shutdown Lynch next week to have a good chance of winning.....I think the receiving core of the 49ers is better than the Hawks. Again, I hate saying this as I want the Hawks in the SB!!! (but also to stop all the Seattle whinning from loosing to Pitt and how the refs stole that game...please stop the whining already!) AFC game, who cares....SB will be won by an NFC team, no contest.

I was gunna say, those excuses do NOT fly "Kaepernick is a douche" OK...add him to the 75% of all NFL players that are douches "Crybabies" bull sh*t. EVERY team's fans are crybabies and we all know it
I can say with all honesty: Steelers fans run their mouths more than should be legal and have every excuse under the sun as for why they lose. As do Dallas fans. And well, every damn team you find (except for a few like Detroit, Oakland, Cleveland sorry guys )
Right off the bat: Look at Rivers. That guy is a dick and a half. What about Brady? Dez Bryant? Cutler? Brandon Marshall? Cam Newton? When are you a "fierce competitor" and "passionate" or a "dick" and "baby"?
Like I said Tim (and apparently Nogbad) are fans of rival teams so that makes sense. You guys need no excuse, it's like me hating the other NFC East teams. The rest of the hate though I really don't get. It's all over FB and real life as well. People just don't like em (shrugs) I don't get it. They play exactly how all football fans should like to see and are now going to their third NFC game in a row.
Agreed with what you above have said, that game is pretty much the SB. However, if Denver goes I can't rule them out. It is still Peyton Manning and his should be illegal offensive arsenal. I still do agree though whoever is the NFC champion is winning it all.

I consider you a Saints fan, a Seahawks fan never roots against them.

Insert joke here about Manti Teo missing that tackle and trying to catch his GF, or something like that
If Denver plays NE, I can't be the only one hoping Wes Welker makes the game winning TD catch.

My main problem with the Niners is Kaepernick and Harbaugh and the fact that I work at a TV station in Sacramento and we sell ourselves as "Your 49ers Station", at least in Sac, and I work with all Niner fans. It gets old after awhile (especially when you don't already care for the team) and I honestly just wonder where all the Raiders fans are. Yeah, they're not very good right now, but talk about bandwagons.
And my problem with Kaepernick is that he seems very full of himself. I don't know for a fact if he is, but it just comes across that way. And JJ, you're right, that's most of the league, but I see Kaepernick all the time where I work/live because we go nuts at my station for it. Add the commercials, publicity, yada yada yada, and I'm tired of it. Plus, his voice annoys the hell out of me.
So yes, I'll admit it. I'm a hater.

I don't think you could ask for four better teams for next weekend. Can't wait ! I'm hoping for a Seattle / New England final with Seattle winning it all.

At least that one ended well.
No surprises, the better team won, and now I get the Brady/Manning championship game I was denied last year.

This shall be an epic round of games, can't wait!
Seattle, SF, and even Denver...those wins were not exactly awe inspiring. They don't need to be, but really makes ya feel like anything can happen.

Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaah boii! Niners win!
I get TIm Leary, why the rest of you have beef is beyond me. Doesn't SF play the type of ball we all moan about being dead??? Tough defense, solid run game, blue collar/not flashy pass game (Crabtree and Boldin are solid and physical, Davis is the only real explosive player) and Kaepernick can keep any play alive like Aaron Rodgers. Sorry, I just don't get it sans they have been successful.
Also, exactly as I predicted: SF/Seattle NFC game! I do not think SF will win. Seattle's defense is even tougher, and Wilson is a much better passer than Cam. It will be a tight, physical game though I bet. Hopefully a 2011 repeat! Seattle has been a little lacking offensively, made up for by their Defense and rigged stadium (sorry no other way to say it) so I see a low scoring slug fest. I'd LOVE SF to pull out the win but I think it's Seattle's year.
Pulling for Denver tonight. San Diego does not deserve to be here, and Peyton needs to win this game. If he has a bad game tonight and they lose, well we will really be out of excuses for him.

You are not alone.
My favorite teams are the 49ners and Broncos, anyone of them winning would make me really happy.

Yes I am a Saints fan, but I also like the Seahawks...mainly because I live here and I like what they do. I am also a Mariners fan, not sure why but I am. I have more special and meaningful time in New Orleans and the south, so it makes sense...plus we do have a Super Bowl Championship! My wife is a Cajun Coon-A$$......cooks good food and I am not going to risk that by putting Seattle as my #1 team

Why are NFL head coaches so poor at non-football aspects of strategy. McCoy's been a revelation for the Chargers and Rivers, but his thinking that the probability of recovering an onside kick < the probability of Manning getting two first downs was crazy.

I hear you, but they freaking had them at 3rd and 17 and then inexplicably decided to leave a receiver wide open.

True. They should have got it back. Safeties rolled the wrong way if I recall.
With that said still, they needed a false start on 1st down to get that to be 3rd and 17 I believe.
