WOW. Saints simply can't play on the road.
Not to take away from Carolina, that defense is legit and Cam is managing to do enough. Don't expect a deep playoff run, but looking good for the future!
HOLY sh*t Eli completed to Hakeem Nicks on his first pass. ....I didn't think he'd even get a chance to look downfield. Edit: So far...the line has been protecting Eli pretty well. They've been sustaining a drive, converting third downs, is this f**king reality??
Speaking of Manning, congrats to Peyton. 51st TD pass, breaking the record held by Tom Brady. I hope he racks up 4 more next week, because 55 just seems like a nice, cool number to have

Yup.....I think Saints are done. For sure SEA will beat Arizona and Saints will get in but on the road they will struggle, maybe win one but not sure about a run. Saints D is not good enough, I have been saying this all year long. The O is killer and Graham should get some kind of MVP, dude is money and a BEAST. Trade away Ingram for some D help is my suggestion...

They're playing the Lions, who seem to have completely forgotten how to play the game. Or they've just given up. Either way, a terrible end to the season.

LOL and they're playing the GIants who struggled badly to move the ball against sh*t defense, get shut out against good ones, and constantly negate their few good plays with fumbles and penalties. Also the 2 time SB MVP with 25 picks....
Gilbride is back!!! After after doing something different for once: Rolling Eli out to avoid pressure, short passes and screens, not running on every 2nd down....he's stopped doing all those things. Run on 2&10 inside our 15?? It's failed every time in this game, but why not Gilbride. Oops it ended up causing a safety. Eli is now dropping straight back, (so he can be minced meat) yet again proving the RARE times Gilbride does adapt, the moment there's a sign of success he reverts back and this is where the Giants lose.

The Lions have just set themselves up to lose at home on a last minute field goal for the 2nd week in a row.

THEN in comes Eli!
This is a battle of the f**k ups Though yet again that pick thrown in the area of a young WR. They need to get this miscommunication issue sorted out this off season. Unacceptable. So many of his picks have been around Randle or Jernigan. They better up their game next year.
Well, at least there's a chance in OT.
Unrelated: Seattle lost at home. This is like finding a unicorn

It looks as though the Packers and Lions seasons are both ending at about the same time.

I dont even know what to say.
That game was uglier than sin itself.
I guess I'm "happy" with that win? I dont even know anymore. W is a W, and at least this was kinda almost impressive? OK not really, but I'll take it.
Sorry Scott and Mills, that is rough. At least you were in the running to make the playoffs, we've had a pointless season since week 6. Here's to progression in 2014 for us both

Both my teams (Saints, Hawks) failing today.....Saints worse though, can't win on the road. Hawks need to fix the D penalties, killed them this game. From here on out almost have to play flawless to make the SB.

That's what makes this season the most disappointing in recent memory. We had a shot at the division, something we haven't had in 20 years, and for the season to completely fall apart like this. All I know is that Schwartz and Linehan need to be fired tomorrow. Cunningham did an okay job with the defense this year, so maybe he gets another year. I just want heads to roll over this.

Yeah but hey, better to have love and lost...as they say.
Besides, it's gotta be better than the usual. This season has been hell for me, having to enjoy wins just for the sake/hope to beat rivals or spoil others (sorry). I'd rather have hope than crap.
Here's to 2014! We'll need the help, Nick Foles is the real deal it appears. I miss the VIck/Barkley combo

Silver lining Lions fans...new regime will come in. Of course, it could always be worse but JS wasn't taking you guys anywhere. Also LOL Bears, thanks for not playing tonight...it made the game something to watch.
I'm quite excited that the Eagles Cowboys game will be the final game of the season. Hopefully this will be 3 years in a row that the 'Boys blow it to a different NFC east opponent.

NFC North, do none of you want to win this division? As they say over here in the UK, after you Claude.
Lions - a dismal loss in the way they seem to make a habit of. I'll repeat what I said last week, I can't believe a team with so much potential has imploded so badly. Don't worry Scott/Mills Layne they must surely put it together next season.
Packers - pitifully feeble defense, 38 points conceded at home? Really. That was terrible and they are very lucky to get another shot next week.
Bears - the toughest task of any of the 3 but that total blowout was not what I expected. Kudos to the Eagles, they are starting to fly (pun intended).
I'm thinking the Bears will probably have too much for the Pack next week. I reckon the best chance the Packers have is to get Rodgers out there one way or the other and try and turn it into a shootout as the Bears are fairly certain to score on each possession given the porous Packer defense. At this point I'd send him out in a wheelchair if need be.
