I think I'm gonna try to learn guitar. For reals this time. It looks like a fun time, good to do while bored. Doing the 40 hr work week routine thing makes me feel like I have a lot of time and very little passion

New Birds and Buildingsī album is probably the best release of the year:

I had a lot of 2012 favorites, but not many releases stand out for me this year. Hubardo , obviously. Like Clockwork... Messe, Les Revenants, and The Afterman:2 to some extent.

Doing ok, work has been taking most of my energy these days, but everyone in my life seems to be more or less happy, including me.
I trust you've been busy with real life lately. I don't think I've seen you here or on FB for months. Not that I'm on FB a whole lot either.

Bebop's soundtrack is so good.
The song at the end of Jupiter Jazz p.2 is just mesmerizing.

I am listening to Bantam to Behemoth for the first time. This is some good stuff. I had heard the song Birds Flying Into Buildings before a number of times, but this is my first listen to this album. I really like Dan Britton's other band Deluge Grandeur. I've not heard Cerebus Effect yet.
