I have these 5 studio albums by this extraordinary band.
All five are pretty awesome, however I would pick Wurdah Itah as my favourite.

These days I would tend to go for 1001 over the others, but they are all splendid.

A tossup between MDK and Kohntarkosz.  In both cases I slightly prefer the various live versions that have been released, but as studio creations, I'll give a slight edge to MDK.

I only have the first 3 titles from this list, so I won't vote - but tough choice between 1001 Centigrades and Kohntarkosz. Had there been the amazingly wonderful debut, that would win for me, hands down.

MDK and Wurdah Itah both pale in comparison to just about any live version of them, so I voted Kohntarkosz

For live performances, Wurdah Itah is consistently my favourite Magma composition

1001 Degrees Centigrades and Wurdah Itah are my particular faves of these -- really love both, but I choose 1001.  Love all these albums..

K.A. (Kohntarkosz Anteria)

For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.

Köhntarkösz, mainly because it has been my first Magma purchase
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

My first Magma purchase was the live dbl LP back in 1989 - I perceived it as some sort of Satanic Jazz

Regarding the magnificent Kohntarkosz, there is a mind-blowing section early on side 2, where keyboardist Gerard Bikialo just goes off, Ratledge-like on his fuzzed-out Yamaha organ - it just smokes for ages. This is just out-bloody-rageous !!

Wurdah and 1001 awesome. Mdk disappointing
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.
