I've only heard about three of these. Did any of these albums knock your socks off this year?

Guapo is outstanding, includes a great dvd of their NF Five Suns performance. It's top 3 on the year for me with Mirthkon and Miriodor. Got to see Guapo at RIO where they were great and were so loud they blew the PA

I have heard four of these. None of them will be end up in my top 10, but Airbag (Floydish stuff, now on progstreaming) comes close and Ulver (tending to classic) is also good.

La Coscienza di Zeno is solid RPI, but I would choose Ingranaggi della Valle's In Hoc Signo instead because it is more adventurous.

Hubardo candidates for most controversial album of this year. If I am to rate it, I'd round it down a bit to 2 stars.

Dimensionaut. I was terribly disappointed when Sound of Contact had to cancel their US tour.

Right now, it's Messe. One of the best albums I've ever heard.

I quite like the Guapo and Birds & Buildings, but they both get blown away by Hubardo

I like Caligula's Horse - but how much i like it changes every day so i'm little on the fence rating wise.

Guapo and Hubardo are both excellent. The Trip didn't grab me much, not yet anyway. Haven't heard any others on the list.

I gotta admit, I'm getting slow with new releases. I have most of these in my library, but have only heard 2 of them. Of those, Hubardo is easily better, but it's not incredible either

I've bought Hubardo but I still haven't listened to it
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Ulver - Messe I.X - VI.X out of these.

Sound of Contact is very good ! But Hubardo is outstanding. I wonder how Toby Driver is still able to amaze me each time he release a new album.

Sound of Contact Dimensionaut
When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Ritual knocked my socks off

I look up, I'm almost blinded

by the warmth of what's inside me

and the taste that's in my soul,

but I'm dead inside as I stand alone...
