One of my very favorite Beatles albums, so I voted for that. Honorable mention to XTC and The Fall (both of whom I almost voted for). And of course Animals, and maybe even Caravan and Kevin Ayers. A strong list, in other words.

Was going to go with "Warrior on the Edge of Time" until I saw "Magical Mystery Tour". The album with Strawberry Fields & I am the Walrus will get my vote every single time

If those albums were sitting on my living room floor, waiting for me choose one to pick and put on the turntable, I would reach for THE CURE's Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me cuz I haven't heard it in a while and I always associate it with such joy because the first time I heard it was on a long drive in my car in which the (luckily) powerful radio station I was listening to was playing it start to finish, all the way through! Four sides! and I got to catch the whole thing! I was blown away. "The Kiss" is still one of the most gut-wrenching, powerful songs I've ever heard (and a favorite).
