Also, excellent win by the panthers today.
And ugly win for the Gmen...but good to see them pull out a victory. Hopefully Brown will continue to have his legs be not broken for an extended period.

Eli had another dropped pass in the endzone, just to note, as well as that easy drop by Cruz that I'm sure would've been a TD. Eli has been robbed of like 4 or 5 guaranteed TDs these last few games.
Remember yall, lies damn lies and statistics.
Real concern for Peyton, I don't think he's gunna make it to the end of this season.
This is why I love Drew Brees! He can rack up points in a heart beat, it must be totally demoralizing for a defense. If not the whole team in general. Even better when against Dallas!

I loved seeing that. Especially after Seattle looked back to form today in Atlanta.

Dallas sucks.
I know it's N'arlins but still...this is almost painful. Almost.
Brees is god, one of the most thorough destructions I've seen.

I guess the only real surprise was just how brutal it was, I mean...31st ranked defense (before this game and thus before Sean Lee went out you dumb ass broadcasters) vs Brees and Co at home? Was gunna be a slaughter.
So with that I wouldn't jump off the wagon yet! Though I've always liked Pierre Thomas, guy has been a consistent stud who would be a beast if on a different team and wasn't rotated so much.
Case Keenum is proving he may actually be the "real deal", my Giants horrid loss to the Panthers stings a tiny bit less now seeing they are a pretty solid team with a sick defense.
Tonight is the dysfunction bowl...Miami and their, issues, vs the Buccs and their apparently tyranical coach everyone hates. Shame is matchup could be decent.

^ I agree...America's team title needs to be reassigned! I like Thomas, seems they know what they are doing rotating him, I mean he is no Lynch who can pound for 30 carries without breaking a sweat, in 1 half!!. Plus I think it keeps his legs fresh since he is such a threat out of the backfield, all purpose yards. For Ingram it was against a terrible D, but hopefully he got some confidence with those runs. MNF has been a pc of krapp for scheduling this year........ESPN has done a dismal job (as usual), I just assume they not show the game and hopefully nobody watches, I have better things to do (I am sure). Next several games for the Saints are tough.....Carolina is good, defense wins games. Seahawks are finding their stride again.....Saints D is not as good as those two teams I fear.

MNF schedule has been sh*t (on paper at least) for awhile. It just seems they get the last say in which games they get. At least...I kind of hope that's that case and didn't think things like Dolphins Saints and Minnesota Giants would be good games! And then of course Packers Bears which looked to be one of the best turned to garbage with Cutler out and Rodgers being injured immediately. (Of course, that probably kept the game close...but still...I lost pretty much all interest in it without the two starting quarterbacks.)
That said...next weeks game of Carolina and New England is looking way better than it did at seasons start.

Oh, poor Dolphins....just handed the Bucs their first win of the season. I'm sure my mom is furious right now (she's a 'Phins fan). Not only is all of this controversy going on, it seems like it's derailing their entire season. Things started out so promising, and now it's all falling apart.
On a brighter note, the 2008 Detroit Lions can breathe a sigh of relief. Still the only NFL team in history to go 0-16.

My favorite stat: Dolphins 7 rush attempts, total rush yards: 2.

Their o line blows and they decided not to keep Reggie Bush. Oh well, I guess the Lions benefitted from that, so I won't complain.

As promised, I had better things to do than watch MNF......but you have to be kidding at that stat!! I would have preferred watching more Incognito/Martin interviews.......

Next week game might make up for it. On paper, it looks like a great one.

Hey, what do you know. Steelers are only 2 games behind in the AFC North which is trying to tie the NFC East for worst division....
We play the Lions next I think and our pass defense is terrible, this can't be good.....

Yes, if I was a member of those 08 Lions I'd legit have the 72 Miami like party. Whenever a crap team gets their first win, pop some champagne! The record is still intact.
Pats and Panthers could be fairly interesting yes, and of course Chiefs/Broncos will be the real biggie. And a "true test". Credit where it's due 100% but KC has gotten to play some backup QBs and lousy offenses. And that offense, dear god the epitome of "just enough" even then they've been bailed out by the D a couple of times.

I heard today that KC hasn't played an over .500 team yet.

The 76 Buccaneers were the first winless team so I suppose they popped the champagne until 08 when the Lions joined them.

Hm, it seems you heard right. Best record they've played is Dallas at 5-5, and as we know they are not a good team really, who themselves have only won against worse teams More importantly, no one with a real potent offense.
How they fare against Denver will be interesting. They could hold up against em, but if points start to build can Alex Smith and co keep up?
Sure why not MoM? More the merrier, esp when misery is involved!

And they've really hit the backup qb lottery too.
